Blackhawk Floor Plan Overview
Upon arriving at the Blackhawk log home, the Blackhawk’s front-covered entryway leads you into the foyer of the home. Within the grand entry, the double-sided fireplace pulls you into the great room, where the view from outside is clearly seen through the enormous picture windows. The spacious kitchen and dining room ultimately complete the great room. Additionally, the main floor is comprised of the master bedroom and bathroom, the den/guest room, an additional bathroom and the laundry room. When you go down into the bassement there are three additional bedrooms, two baths, and bonus rooms to appeal to any buyer. Last, but not least, the loft is the retreat worth saving for the end with its open area and views out the picture windows. You can’t beat it!
Great Room
The great room, as well as the kitchen and dining area of the Blackhawk floor plan, often appeal the most to log home builders. Large, prow-shaped windows in the great room take advantage of the amazing views of your property. Much of the style and curb appeal of the Blackhawk’s exterior can also be attributed to the tasteful window placement in the Blackhawk floor plan. The great room in general is ideal for family gatherings and socializing, as you can enjoy the natural beauties of your surrounding landscapes through the large open windows. Its location is central to the rest of the log home and separates the grand entry way from the dining area.
Kitchen & Dining Area
With plenty of space in the kitchen to cook up your favorite family recipes, you can accommodate your entire family and more in our kitchen and adjacent dining area. Whether it is just an average typical day at the cabin, or you are celebrating your favorite traditional holiday, there is plenty of room to make memories with your closest family and friends.
Master & Guest Bedroom
Some may say a log home is only as good as its master bedroom. The Blackhawk master bedroom, tucked away on the right hand side of the house, is spacious and the epitome of luxury. Built with a double walk-in-closet and a five-point-bath in the master bathroom, you can check those off your wishlist. It’s even better than you could imagine! If you, your guests or family members have trouble getting downstairs, it’s nice knowing both the master and the guest bedroom are on the main level.
Large Private Deck & Walkout Basement
Another favorite feature of log home buyers are the decks and porches. Held up by large pillars covered in stone, the wraparound deck of the Blackhawk is rich in character and serves many purposes. As a private and separate deck, you can enjoy quiet or loud times with friends and family. Built to encompass the natural surroundings of the log home, the deck is a great sitting area for enjoying the exquisite landscapes. Graced by the magnificent sunrises and sunsets of each day, this peaceful lookout is enjoyable for the whole family at any time of the day. In addition to the spacious deck on the main floor, the Blackhawk has a walkout basement patio.
Storage Room
As a permanent residence or a vacation home, adequate storage space is a necessity. You can never have enough storage space. When used as a vacation home, it is helpful to leave behind the basic staple items you’ll need every time you visit the cabin. Adequate storage space is convenient for leaving these items behind without cluttering the rest of your log home. Whether you store simple bedding or your outdoor equipment for skiing or snowboarding, you will not regret having the right amount of storage space tucked away in the corner of the log home.
3 Full-Size Rooms in Basement
Another three additional, full-size rooms in the basement, and two additional baths, give ample room for you to accommodate your family’s needs. Each room is tucked away in one of the corners of the basement, with larger-than-average room sizes for a log home. Comfort and luxury are the essence of this thoughtful floor plan, which brings us to the added bonus rooms of the log home.
Family Room & Game Room
The game room is a perfect area for your pool table, air hockey table or ping pong table, while the family room is a large, open room to enjoy for your leisure. Many of your most memorable family memories are usually spent enjoying games, talking and simply relaxing, which is why our floor plan is designed to allow you to do each of those things. Every inch of the log home is designed to offer the space and luxuries your family can enjoy for many years. The Blackhawk floor plan has plenty of room to accommodate and entertain your family.
